Plans can change — if you cancel at least 60 days before your course, we’ll refund 80% of the course fee. See our flexible

70% of our students add this for additional peace of mind. With cancellation protection, EF will refund your course fees if you have to cancel your trip because of a personal illness or the illness of an immediate family member. In all cases, a medical certificate must be submitted within 10 days of the cancellation. It’s a one-time payment that gives you flexible cancellation protection up until you depart.

You can access your EF accommodation the day before the course begins and check out the day after it ends to help you adjust and travel comfortably. Courses start on Mondays and finish on Fridays.

Trips during high season are subject to a small extra fee, which will be automatically added to your final price.

EF Intensive is best for faster progress, personalized learning, and a focused, high-impact experience. It’s the most popular option with EF students from around the world.

The course structure includes extra special interest lessons for faster, more targeted results, alongside language lessons, projects, and lectures.

EF General is ideal for consistent progress, a flexible schedule, and a well-rounded mix of learning and travel.

The course structure includes language lessons, projects, lectures, and special interest classes, with more free time to explore your destination.

EF Intensive includes more weekly lessons, so students choosing a U.S. destination may need a different visa type, which can come with its own costs independent of EF.

If you're unsure what this means for you, speak to an EF Study Advisor — we're here to help you find the best option for your goals and budget.

While we’re working on expanding this, only EF Intensive and EF General are currently available to book online. To book one of our other courses, like exam preparation, career focus, or study & work options, please book a consultation with an EF Study Advisor.
